Fees and Reimbursements
Full dentures
These are necessary when you no longer have your own teeth.
Your basic insurance will reimburse you 75% of the cost of a full set of dentures. Your contribution is 25% of the cost. If you have supplementary insurance you will also get a full or partial reimbursement of your own contribution.
Your basic insurance will reimburse you €125 per jaw in the case of a click-in denture.
Repairs
Repairs to and the relining of a prosthesis that is made for a toothless jaw will be fully reimbursed by your health insurance. The reimbursement for relining partial dentures or a frame prosthesis is the responsibility of the supplementary insurance provider. When in doubt, please contact your health care provider.
Relining
Relining your current full dentures applies a new layer of plastic inside your current dentures to make them fit better. Your basic insurance pays 100% of the costs for relining your full upper and/or lower jaw dentures. The fee for relining a partial denture or frame prosthesis is the responsibility of the supplementary insurance provider. When in doubt, please contact your health care provider.
Partial dentures and frame prosthesis
Your basic insurance will not reimburse you for any prosthetic on a jaw that still contains teeth. Your health care provider will reimburse you if you have supplementary insurance. We advise you to check the provisions of your insurance policy or to contact your health care provider.
Deductible
A mandatory excess of €360 per calendar year is applicable to all reimbursements covered by your basic insurance. This includes full dentures as well as the repair and the relining of them. We will give you a complete breakdown of all our charges during a consultation or at your first appointment.
